The GNS Power Alloys GmbH (GPA) is a subsidiary of GNS Gesellschaft für Nuklear-Service mbH from Essen. In December 2024, GPA took over the business operations of Powder Light Metals GmbH, founded in 2000. The name Powder Light Metals has since been a brand of GPA.
GPA has unique know-how in the development and production of aluminum sheets manufactured using powder metallurgy, which are used in particular in support baskets for CASTOR® casks, but also in the automotive, aerospace, and chemical industries.
GNS Power Alloys is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.
